WE'VE DONE IT - TROWBRIDGE HAS BECOME A FAIRTRADE TOWN

TROWBRIDGE FAIRTRADE

As part of our wider aims I am part of the team seeking to establish Trowbridge as a Fairtrade town, and we are steering the town towards Fairtrade Status, whereby we encourage all businesses and families to adopt a Fairtrade model of living.

This has already been achieved in Devizes, Bradford on Avon , and other towns are also seeking to go down this route.  We have produced a West Wilts Fairtrade directory which can be ordered by emailing lizandmikebateman@talktalk.net

The West Wilts Fairtrade directory shows you where you can purchase Fairtrade items.  It is our aim, and our great resource to link up across the South West with Fairtrade events and initiatives that will further draw people’s attention to the need to steward our finances and our environment fairly.
